  1. Mar 20,  · I've never been real happy with any sound quality of Mahavishnu Orchestra, CD or vinyl, even original release vinyl. In comparison the McLaughlin/Santana Love, Devotion, Surrender LP, sounds wonderfully rich and powerful in the mix and sound, that seems to be missing to a huge degree with the Mahavishnu Orchestra releases. JMHO.
